Site Policies Guide

By accepting site services from Crystal Clear Solutions, Inc., you signify that you will comply with the following site policies.

1.  Legalities:  You will operate your site in accordance with the laws of the United States of America and the State of Florida.  The State of Florida, County of Hillsborough is the accepted legal venue for all actions.  You are solely responsible for your actions, and the actions of those to whom you give access to your site facilities and services.  You will hold us harmless of any and all actions pertaining to your use of our facilities or services.

2.  No Hacking:  You will NOT "hack" or otherwise commit harm or mischief, or snoop upon any facilities, functions, customers, equipment, software, or data within our facility or related to us or any of our customers.  If we find evidence of hacking, we prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

3.  Test Site:  You may request that a test site be set up with your production site at no additional charge.  Any disk space or communications bandwidth used is included in your site account's allocation.  You do not need to pay for an additional site.  We will add a server name, such as "TEST" to your domain's DNS definition.  There is no additional DNS charge for this site.

4.  Billing:  We will bill you in advance of the month's usage.  If you pay by credit card, we will e-mail a receipt of the credit card transaction instead of an invoice.  If you pay by check, you have 15 days to deliver the check to us for account credit.  If you do not pay on time, or your payment is not accepted (bad check or credit card not authorized), we may terminate service at our discretion.  We will notify you of the situation within ten business days prior to termination.  In all cases, termination of site services will occur at the end of every unpaid month.  Site re-instatement requires that the unpaid balance, the new month, and the standard setup fee be paid in advance of the re-instatement.

Note:  You may dispute an amount on the invoice to us.  But, payment must be made on time.  We will refund or credit forward any amount we agree to cancel from an invoice.

5.  Technology:  We will attempt to upgrade our servers to new releases of server software and new releases of server software maintenance fixes to provide the latest technologies and the best security available to you as a standard practice.  You may request technology upgrades from us at any time.  We will evaluate the impact on all other customers and decide accordingly.  Our decision is final.

6.  Security and Site Backups:   You are ultimately responsible for your site security and site data.  You must protect passwords, programmed access, and back up your site periodically.  We will protect the server with configuration changes and hot fixes to resolve security issues brought to our attention.  We will backup site data to another server daily, on a weekly rotation.  Any restoration of site data by us will be charged to the site account at our current HTML programming rate.

7.  Email Spamming and Bombing:   You will not engage in spamming or bombing of anyone's email system through ours.   Your account may be terminated immediately for this action.  Spamming is the wholesale mailing of unsolicited email in bulk.  Bombing is the rapid transmission of email to a specific user or server, usually intended to slow down or corrupt someone else's email system.  If you have a problem with someone else sending you junk email, contact us.  Don't retaliate through our servers.

8.  Selling, Renting, or Giving Space on Your Site:  You may not sell, rent, or give any of your web site to other persons or businesses.  If we find webs on your site that do not belong to you, we will terminate those webs.  If the owner of the web would like to obtain a legitimate site with us, they may then contact us to make the arrangements.

9.  Policy Changes:  We may change policy at any time.  If you are a current customer, we will provide you email or US Postal mail notification of the change one month prior to its mandatory acceptance.  Any change deemed by us to be urgent, will be implemented immediately.  Urgent changes will affect security, safety, or legal issues and items.
